Abstract
Review of the monograph by Pimonenko T., Liulov O., Letunovska N. "Stochastic Modeling of the Roadmap for Harmonization of National and European Energy Market Regulation Standards: Transformational Shifts Towards a Circular and Carbon Neutral Economy".
Climate change poses a number of systemic social and economic risks that significantly affect the global business environment and cause crises in financial and investment markets. In turn, the functioning of the circular economy leads to the development and promotion of a new model of production and consumption that will ensure the sustainable development of all sectors of the national economy. The implementation of such approaches will optimize the use of resources, reduce energy consumption, promote sustainable lifestyles and develop environmentally responsible management. In the context of the transition to a low-carbon economy, the modernization of the energy sector is a strategic task for every country, ensuring economic and energy security and enabling countries to meet their commitments under the green energy transition policy. In this context, the monograph dedicated to the study of the problems of a carbon-neutral economy and the formation of a sustainable energy policy is undoubtedly relevant and timely.
