GRANT OPPORTUNITIES OF THE "YEROBOTA" PROGRAM FOR STARTING AND DEVELOPING THE OWN BUSINESS OF VETERANS AND MEMBERS OF THEIR FAMILIES
Abstract
The article examines the main grant opportunities of the "eRobota" government program for veterans and their family members. The main possibilities of the program are outlined, in particular: obtaining grant funding for the purchase of furniture, equipment and vehicles for commercial use; licensed software; raw materials, materials, goods and services necessary for the implementation of business, as well as for animals or seedlings to create farms; marketing and advertising services; rental of non-residential premises and equipment; purchase of a franchise. It is specified who can receive a grant, namely combatants, persons with disabilities as a result of war, as well as their spouses or husbands. It is emphasized that the grant can be received by a sole proprietorship or an individual who plans to open his own business. The conditions for obtaining grant funding have been demonstrated. The prospects of attracting non-refundable grant aid for starting and developing one's own business in any field are considered. The specifics and priorities of the grant program to support veterans and their family members have been demonstrated. Prospects for creating new jobs, establishing veteran business activities, and strengthening Ukraine's economy were considered. The main obstacles and barriers faced by veterans and their family members in the process of attracting grant tools of the government program "eRobota" have been identified. The reasons for not too active use of grant funding by entrepreneurs of the veteran community were analyzed. In particular, these are: the process of obtaining the status of a participant in hostilities that is long and complicated by bureaucratic procedures, identified errors in the applicant’s business reputation, the condition for receiving the maximum financing up to UAH 1 million - to have a registered FOP for at least 3 years, the difficulty in developing a business plan for participation in the grant program. Methods of overcoming these obstacles are proposed. The main opportunities for the development of veteran business in Ukraine have been demonstrated thanks to the use of grant tools of the "eRobota" program, which will give veterans an effective impetus to start and develop their own business, which depends not only on their well-being, but also on strengthening the economy of Ukraine in war and post-war times.
