MEASURES TO INCREASE MANAGEMENT EFFICIENCY: DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF STRATEGIES AND INITIATIVES TO IMPROVE MANAGEMENT
Abstract
At the moment, against the background of the pronounced backlog of the application of cognitive approaches to management aimed at involvement of corporate knowledge in production processes corporations, efficiency of management systems joint-stock companies is clearly insufficient. An effective system of corporate governance in the narrow sense appears as a guarantee of high competitiveness of the enterprise and reduction of its risks, v broad - allows to increase the overall efficiency of the corporate sector and the entire economy as a whole. This article is devoted to the analysis of modern problems and prospects for the development of the corporate governance system in joint-stock companies. The work formalized and substantiated a system of measures to solve the mentioned problems, including by introducing changes and additions to the legislation. Peculiarities and problems of the development of joint-stock companies, in particular with state participation in modern economic conditions, were considered. The relevance of the chosen direction of research is determined by the high importance of joint-stock companies for the economic, political and geopolitical development of Ukraine. The scientific justification of the need to study these subjects of the corporate environment is determined by their uniqueness and significant differences from other economic subjects. An assessment of the state of joint-stock companies in Ukraine for 2013-2022 was carried out. Proposed ways of solving the problems of ensuring and improving management efficiency in JSC of Ukraine. To evaluate the effectiveness of the management of the corporation by the authors a complex approach combining both financial and non-financial evaluation criteria. corporate management is the most important and insufficiently implemented mechanism of strategic management of joint-stock companies in Ukraine. Increasing the efficiency of corporate management is not possible without modernization of corporate legislation, which should ensure: - reliable protection of property rights; - balance of interests of majority and minority shareholders; - balance of interests of shareholders and managers; - balance of interests of shareholders and creditors.
